Job Summary
Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival while obtaining and documenting vital signs, medical histories, and clinical information in the electronic medical record. Perform clinical tasks including phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, vaccinations, and specimen collection, ensuring accurate documentation using EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Athenahealth. Deliver exceptional patient service and manage high-volume interactions in a fast-paced environment, leveraging bilingual communication skills to support patient care. This role supports physicians before, during, and after procedures across outpatient vein, fibroid, vascular, and prostate centers nationwide. Candidates must have fluency in Spanish and English, at least one year of hands-on clinical experience, and completion of a training program or current certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role
- Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection
- Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in Spanish & English
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification
