Job Summary
Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival while obtaining and documenting vital signs, medical histories, and clinical information in the electronic medical record. Perform clinical tasks including phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, vaccinations, and specimen collection within your scope of training and certification. Accurately document patient interactions using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth while leveraging bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions. Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment. Fluency in Spanish and English is required, along with one to two years of hands-on clinical experience. Join USA Clinics Group's network of outpatient centers focused on minimally invasive care.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role
- Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection
- Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in Spanish & English
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification
