Job Summary
Greet and prepare patients for exams, collecting detailed history and vitals. Document information accurately in the EMR system and assist providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures. Administer oral and injectable medications, perform diagnostic tests such as EKGs and pulse oximetry, and draw blood for lab processing. Maintain instrument sterilization, handle front desk operations including scheduling and check-ins, and provide patient education as instructed. Monitor medical supply inventory and support onboarding of new team members. This bilingual role requires an accredited MA program, one year of experience, and knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA. Salary is $19–$22/hour for a temp-perm position in Clermont, FL.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited MA program
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Basic knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and medical coding
- Strong computer skills
- experience with EMR systems
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy and IV start experience
- Current CPR certification
