Job Summary
Monitor all UNIQLO stores overnight for alarm activity, respond to incidents including Law Enforcement contact, and oversee remote intrusion protection using the Genetec Platform and CCTV systems. Complete nightly audits, assist with maintenance and emergency repairs, and follow up with internal Store teams on security situations. Manage daily health and performance of access control, burglar alarms, and RFID technology while supporting investigations as directed by the supervisor. This bilingual role requires French proficiency for external partner communication and involves working flexible overnight and weekend shifts with occasional travel. Based in the Toronto or Montreal Store Support Centre, the position supports the Fast Retailing Group's global apparel retail operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in retail Loss Prevention, analysis, or call center roles, with a strong security and investigations background in a remote capacity
- Ability to self-manage and stay responsive while working overnight shifts
- Solid understanding of Canadian federal, provincial, and local laws related to Loss Prevention and Security
- Proficiency with Loss Prevention technology, including CCTV, EAS, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection systems
- Experience conducting internal investigations using exception reporting and compliance auditing systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills to respond to and follow up on overnight incidents, including contact with external partners such as law enforcement
- Excellent analytical and project management abilities, with a proven track record as a strategic thinker
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion, strong business acumen, and ethical standards
- Proficient with MS-Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Microsoft platform tools (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.)
- Capable of multitasking, efficiently managing time, and adapting to shifting business priorities without sacrificing attention to detail
- Able to work quickly and efficiently in a remote environment with minimal direct supervision
- Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, including overnight and weekend shifts, as required by the department and company
- Able to work both in-office and remotely; minimum three days per week in office required
- Ability to both speak and write in French
- Regular travel within the assigned location
