Job Summary
Bilingual Logistics Coordinator responsible for managing oversized and car-carrier freight from dispatch through delivery in a fast-paced North American brokerage environment. Will negotiate rates and accessorial charges with drivers, source capacity via load boards (DAT/Truckstop) and existing carrier relationships, and maintain accurate shipment records in a TMS (Tai Software preferred). Requires daily communication with truck drivers and internal teams, strong problem-solving skills to handle dropped loads, route changes, and last-minute changes, and the ability to multitask across high-volume, time-sensitive shipments. Must be fluent in English and Spanish, work remotely from LATAM, and adhere to an 8:30am–6pm EST schedule with weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator or Dispatcher within a freight brokerage
- Direct hands-on experience managing oversized, specialized, or car carrier freight
- Proven ability to negotiate rates and accessorial charges with truck drivers and carriers
- Strong working knowledge of load boards such as DAT and Truckstop
- Experience using a Transportation Management System (TMS), with Tai Software strongly preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
