Job Summary
Bilingual Live Medical Scribe to support U.S.-based healthcare providers with real-time clinical documentation, charting, and patient care coordination from a remote Costa Rica location. Responsibilities include live documentation of patient consultations and procedures using SOAP notes and provider-specific templates, preparing and reviewing medical charts, capturing patient histories, exam findings, and treatment plans, ensuring HIPAA compliance and audit-ready records, coordinating documentation with providers and clinical staff, and supporting follow-ups and prescription workflows. Requires fluent English and Spanish, 70+ WPM typing, experience with EMR/EHR systems, and knowledge of medical terminology. Remote, full-time role with opportunities to contribute to provider efficiency and patient care quality.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Minimum 6+ months of experience as a Medical scribe
- Graduate of an allied medical program strongly preferred: MD, DMD, RN
- Minimum typing speed of 70+ WPM
- Experience using EMR/EHR systems
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- SOAP note formatting
- Healthcare workflows
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
