Job Summary
Remote bilingual live medical scribe support for U.S.-based healthcare providers. Responsibilities include live documentation of patient consultations and procedures, preparing/reviewing medical charts, capturing patient histories, exam findings, and treatment plans, formatting notes using SOAP notes and provider templates, maintaining accurate and audit-ready medical records, supporting follow-ups and patient communication workflows, verifying prescriptions and initiating prior authorizations when needed, and ensuring HIPAA confidentiality and compliance. Must document in real time, support providers remotely, and adapt to fast-paced clinical environments with strong medical terminology knowledge, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) — REQUIRED
- English proficiency level: C1 or higher required
- Minimum 6+ months of experience as a Medical scribe, Dental scribe, or Clinical documentation specialist for U.S.-based healthcare providers
- Graduate of an allied medical program strongly preferred: MD, DMD, RN or similar healthcare-related backgrounds
- Minimum typing speed of 70+ WPM
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical documentation standards, SOAP note formatting, healthcare workflows
- Experience using EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation software
- Intermediate proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
