Job Summary
Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) provides in-person psychotherapy to geriatric residents in skilled nursing facilities, subacute, long-term care, and assisted living communities across NJ, NY, PA, and MD. Responsibilities include conducting individual and group psychotherapy, diagnosing and treating emotional/behavioral conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, cognitive decline), developing evidence-based treatment plans, collaborating with facility staff and families, maintaining accurate clinical documentation using a clinician-designed EHR, monitoring progress, and adjusting plans as needed. Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted License to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state applying for
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities (up to 45 minutes)
- Experience with patient-centered psychotherapy and working in or with geriatric/subacute/long-term care settings preferred
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and regulatory documentation requirements
- Ability to collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams
- Clinical documentation and treatment planning per regulatory standards
