Job Summary
Senior Care Therapy seeks licensed bilingual LPCs to provide in-person psychotherapy to geriatric residents in subacute and skilled nursing facilities across NJ, NY, PA, and MD. Roles are customizable for full-time or part-time schedules (32-hour/40-hour equivalents) with salary ranging from $56k-$90k plus uncapped FFS bonuses and a sign-on bonus up to $6,000 for full-time. Conduct individual and group psychotherapy, diagnose and treat emotional/behavioral conditions (including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, cognitive decline), develop evidence-based treatment plans, collaborate with facility staff and families, maintain clinical documentation in an EHR, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed. Requires active LPC license, bilingual English/Spanish, ability to provide in-person services in facilities, and proficiency with EHR; supports mentorship, CEU reimbursement, malpractice insurance, and 401(k) matching. No admin tasks, flexible daytime hours, and supportive clinical team. Potential locations include Jersey City, NJ; Jersey City, NJ, US (facilities in SNF settings across the specified states).
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor license in the state applying for
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
- Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance
- Full vaccination and booster status may be required in some facilities
- Previous clinical experience in subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare settings (preferred)
