Job Summary
Provide individual or group therapy sessions for children with developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges in-home or at our outpatient center. Deliver coping and social skills training, anger management, and risk reduction strategies for behaviors such as self-injury or physical aggression. Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team to improve decision-making skills for youth and caregivers. Submit required documentation including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes within designated timeframes. Attend monthly meetings to submit recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy or related fields as LSW, LAC, LFT
- Valid driver's license, registered vehicle
- Must pass criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting
- Must submit resume plus copies of master's degree, with copy of NJ or Certification or License
- Must be available for minimum 5-10 hours per week during after school hours of 4-7 pm

- Must have experience providing positive behavior supports
- Must have prior experience working with children ages 3-20 and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD)
