Job Summary
Part-time Bilingual Licensed Mental Health Therapist (IIC) providing in-home, center-based, and telehealth services for youth and adolescents in Northern New Jersey. Responsibilities include individual and group therapy, telehealth sessions, and in-home/center-based therapy; conduct bio-psycho-social assessments when applicable; support coping, social skills, anger management, and reduction of risky behaviors; improve decision-making for youth and caretakers within home settings; collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and other disciplines; complete intake, treatment plans, and DAP notes; attend monthly meetings and maintain mandated clinical documentation; training for bio-psycho-social assessments is available; minimum 6-10 hours/week during after-school hours (12pm-8pm) with a 2-3 client caseload; provides positive behavior supports; experience with youth 3-20 and IDD is a plus; requires NJ license and ability to pass background checks and drug screen; not sponsoring visa. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
- Active New Jersey license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC, LSW, LFT) or reciprocity considered
- Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training
- Crisis Intervention Training (training or willing to complete)
- Post-internship field experience working with youth with mental health disorders
- Experience creating treatment planning, treatment goals, progress notes, and initial assessments
- Experience with counseling approaches: CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, Trauma Response
- Knowledge of DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screen
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship (no H-1B sponsorship)
- State reciprocity considered (within 25–30 minutes of service areas)
