Bilingual Lead Case Manager -JOR

Job Summary
Supervise and train the case management team while providing daily case consultation and support. Coordinate safe and timely release services in collaboration with the cross-functional service delivery team and establish strong relationships with assigned foster parents. Guide staff through safety assessments, crisis responses, and behavioral stabilization services as required. Maintain a caseload and travel as needed to provide direct child-facing services on-site to youth and families. Complete all required training and ensure the team completes relevant child welfare training in a timely manner. Participate in continuous quality improvement activities on a monthly or quarterly basis.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in the behavioral sciences, human services, or social services fields from an accredited institution, or bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of progressive employment experience that demonstrates supervisory and case management experience
- Must demonstrate a sincere commitment to the service and advocacy for youth and families
- A valid professional license as required and acceptable by state or contract regulations
- Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire
- Driving personal vehicle in the performance of this job is required
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a vehicle in good working order
- Must have auto liability insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000
- Bilingual English/Spanish fluency
- Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, internet search, people management programs, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs
- Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours in the service of foster caregivers, families of origin, and persons served
- Possess a sincere desire and ability to advocate for children facing behavioral health, immigration, educational, legal, development, and socio-economic challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Compassionate attitude and strong understanding of child development
- Nurturing teaching approach
- Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity
- Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands
- Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying
- Ability to travel frequently and drive vehicle while sitting for extended periods, with frequency varying based on program demands
