Job Summary
Accurately translate reports and texts in electronic and hard-copy formats, capturing geopolitical, regional, and cultural nuances while interpreting consecutive and occasionally simultaneous speech. Review audio or internet materials to transcribe with high accuracy and summarize factual points alongside abstract concepts. Prepare written translations and products using MS Office and conduct basic web research. Deploy for 4 to 8 weeks at a time in outside Continental US locations, returning for equal periods. Requires active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, ILR Level 3+ in target language, and 5+ years of professional translation experience. Salary ranges from $86,600 to $181,800.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph
- Ability to pass an advanced English test
- Ability to score ILR Level 3 or higher on target language translation test
- Active passport
- Minimum five (5) years' professional experience conducting translation, transcription, translation, and/or interpretation
- In-depth knowledge of the geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural components of target language geographical areas
- Must be a US Citizen
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph
- Ability to pass an advanced English test
- Ability to score ILR Level 3 or higher on target language translation test
- Ability to deploy - active passport
- Minimum five (5) years' professional experience conducting translation, transcription, translation, and/or interpretation

- Must possess excellent English-language written communication skills for preparing reports
- Must possess computer skills: including MS Office
- Must possess sufficient internet skills that will allow basic research the Web
- Must possess excellent English language skills verbal communication skills to present briefings
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
