Job Summary
Conduct face-to-face contact with Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault program participants, including groups, families, and individuals in-office and in-home. Deliver educational, supportive interventions, crisis counseling, and safety assessments for residential and non-residential clients. Manage case loads by conducting initial interviews, creating treatment plans, developing safety plans, and filing protection and civil orders. Maintain daily client contact, accurate documentation, and timely data entry into Client Track. Answer crisis line calls and compile statistics and reports. Coordinate collaborative efforts with community agencies and introduce program services to shelter clients within three days of intake.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Driver's License
- Bachelor's degree in human services preferred, or a degree in a related field, or four years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- CPR Certificate/First Aid Certificate (preferred)
- Certificate from Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in human services preferred, or a degree in a related field, or four years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
