Bilingual Instructional Paraeducator - Resource Room

Build safe, supportive relationships using trauma-informed strategies while maintaining consistent routines and responding to student needs with empathy. Accurately collect and document data related to academic progress, behavior, and IEP goals, ensuring timely communication with the supervising teacher and support team. Follow established behavior intervention plans and apply CPI-approved strategies to de-escalate challenging behaviors, ensuring a safe and structured learning environment. Assist in delivering teacher-directed instruction in both individual and small group formats, administer first aid, and provide support or supervision of students during arrival, departure, transit, and activities. Translate verbal and/or written information to assist students, district personnel, parents, and guardians. Maintain accurate student records within management systems and assist with light cleaning, equipment issuance, and age-appropriate games. Participate in District meetings to communicate information and gain feedback on a variety of issues.
