Bilingual Inbound Sales Advisor - Spanish/English Speaking (W@H)

Job Summary
Conduct inbound sales efforts focusing on consumer lending and ancillary insurance sales to promote quality member service and AFCU. Promote, receive, and originate loan applications while counseling members on relevant financial solutions and communicating loan decisions. Assess members' current financial needs using consultative sales techniques to make appropriate recommendations for loans and other products. Maximize product penetration to meet and exceed established sales goals and baselines while handling member interactions via all channels. Requires fluency in English and Spanish, minimum two years of sales experience, and a proven track record in loan origination.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- High school graduate or equivalent
- General knowledge of consumer loan processes, credit data, application processes and banking requirements
- Understanding of government regulations and legal requirements involving lending and related functions
- Minimum of 2 years related experience in a sales position, credit union or financial institution
- At least two years' experience as a loan originator
- Reviewing credit data and loan applications
- Proven sales track record
- Microsoft applications, including Power Point, Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and public relations skills
- Professional appearance, dress, and attitude
- Efficiency, accuracy, and the ability to deal with people
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to operate related computer applications, CTI phone system, smart fax, and all other applicable systems
