Job Summary
Lead full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing to onboarding, while delivering engaging orientation programs and supporting employees throughout their journey. Provide guidance on employee relations, performance, and workplace concerns, leading investigations with professionalism and empathy. Manage HRIS data, payroll updates, attendance, and reporting, and administer compensation, benefits, and recognition programs. Ensure compliance with Quebec pay equity and French language requirements, acting as a subject matter expert on applicable labour regulations. Develop clear HR policies, contribute to health and safety initiatives, and build partnerships with agencies to attract top talent. Occasional travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and French
- Post-secondary education in HR or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience
- Strong knowledge of employment standards and Quebec and Ontario labour legislation
- Collaborative, solutions-focused mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Occasional travel
