Job Summary
Serve as the HR point of contact for managers and employees regarding policies, procedures, and routine employee relations questions. Support intake, documentation, investigations, and corrective action processes while assisting with performance management activities and employee coaching. Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems, process I-9s and personnel file audits, and track compliance updates across federal, state, and local employment laws. Respond to employee and manager requests through shared services channels, administer benefits enrollments and leave processes including FMLA and ADA, and coordinate with vendors to resolve inquiries. Track employee relations cases from intake through resolution, escalate complex matters to leadership, and participate in HR projects such as policy updates, training coordination, and system implementation. This role supports a centralized shared services model for multi-state operations, requiring bilingual English and Spanish skills and 5-10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3–5 years of experience in HR, employee relations support, or related HR operations roles
- Ability to travel 5-10%
- Bilingual - English and Spanish
- Foundational knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
- Strong organizational, documentation, and follow‐up skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting HR services across multiple locations or states preferred
- Experience using HRIS platforms (ADP preferred or similar systems)
- Exposure to shared services or centralized HR models
- Experience assisting with employee relations matters or HR investigations
- Familiarity with benefits administration or leave coordination processes
