Job Summary
Conduct daily HR operations for Arcosa Wind Towers, including onboarding new hires, administering benefits, and managing performance appraisals. Serve as the central point for employee inquiries regarding policies, grievance escalation, and workforce balancing while maintaining accurate personnel records and EEO/AA logs. Investigate employee relations complaints, oversee retention initiatives, and process leave requests for FMLA, Worker Compensation, and other programs. Provide administrative support for departmental operations and training programs, ensuring full compliance with labor laws and data privacy standards. This full-time role operates two shifts in the Belen, NM plant, potentially requiring weekend coverage and tolerance for high temperatures and loud noises.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing or related field; or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience working in an HR environment, demonstrating a robust understanding of human resource practices
- Capable of maintaining a high level of confidentiality, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of records
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI, and Outlook
- Familiarity with UltiPro, showcasing a strong understanding of HR management systems
- Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, demonstrating skill in assessing priorities
- Excellent communication skills, including strong proofreading abilities and presentation skills
- Full proficiency in English and Spanish

- Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds which operate 2 shifts
- This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
- Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant
