Job Summary
Provide one-on-one counseling to renters, homebuyers, homeowners, and individuals facing foreclosure or housing instability. Develop personalized action plans for rental readiness, credit improvement, and budgeting while assisting clients with spending plans, loan modifications, and emergency mortgage assistance. Educate clients on fair housing practices, eviction prevention, and foreclosure processes, then plan and facilitate homebuyer education workshops. Recruit participants, build partnerships with lenders and community organizations, and advocate for clients to resolve delinquency issues. Maintain confidential records ensuring compliance with HUD and funder requirements, prepare documentation and reports, and represent the organization at outreach events. Requires a valid PA driver's license, Bachelor's degree, and housing counseling certification.
