Job Summary
Assist the Site Supervisor and Operations Manager in daily facility operations by performing general cleanup, managing exterior and interior upkeep, and completing non-routine cleaning per job orders. Remove garbage and recycle daily, handle emergency cleaning requests, and ensure all chemicals are labeled and properly stored. Maintain restrooms and break areas with necessary supplies, obtain accurate job requests from management, and communicate safety rules and regulations. Document account usage of chemicals, supplies, and equipment to ensure safe use. Work Sunday through Wednesday from 6am to 5pm at a rate of $16.50/hour in Davenport, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have dependable transportation
- Must submit to and pass required drug screen and background
- Have 2 + years janitorial experience
- Be able to work the day shift/nights/weekends as well as extra hours that could be required from time to time
- High School diploma/GED required
- Capacity to take direction
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision
- Be able to work in harmony with others
- Must possess great problem-solving skills
- Be a self-starter
- Ability to pass a criminal background
- Ability to pass a clean MVR check (if driving)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment and random employment drug screens
