Job Summary
Perform general handyman and facility maintenance tasks throughout the warehouse, including basic carpentry, painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, and equipment repairs. Troubleshoot and address facility and equipment issues to maintain smooth operations while assembling, installing, and repairing shelving, fixtures, and other warehouse-related items. Assist with daily warehouse functions such as shipping, receiving, staging, loading/unloading, inventory organization, and material handling by operating equipment as needed. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all safety procedures and company guidelines. Start time is 6:00 AM with end time varying based on workload. Bilingual in English and Spanish with previous handyman or maintenance experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Previous handyman, maintenance, facilities, or repair experience
- Experience with basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot issues independently
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
- Ability to learn and operate a forklift
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Reliable, flexible, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
