Job Summary
Licensed/Associate Marriage and Family Therapist to diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. Responsibilities include performing intake assessments, providing individual, couples, family, and child therapy, creating individualized treatment plans, applying evidence-based methods for group and individual treatments, maintaining detailed documentation, performing regular wellness checks, adhering to licensing standards, and managing a minimum caseload (26-32 weekly sessions). Bilingual in Spanish is required; pay varies by bilingual status and experience. Flexible/Hybrid scheduling with approximately 2-3 days in-person and optional work-from-home arrangements. Hours and compensation depend on experience (less than 2000 hours: $37-$39/hour; over 2000 hours: $40-$45/hour; licensed clinicians: $55-$65/hour).
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or similar field
- Current and unrestricted marriage and family therapy license
- Previous experience as a marriage and family therapist preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized
