Job Summary
Bilingual Full-Cycle Medical Biller needed to support U.S.-based healthcare providers from a fully remote position (El Salvador). Responsibilities include submitting clean claims (electronic and paper), verifying insurance eligibility, applying CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS codes, processing claims across multiple specialties and payer types, handling workers’ compensation and auto-accident claims, reviewing EOBs, and resolving claim discrepancies. Also responsible for AR follow-up, denials management, patient billing communications, posting payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant, audit-ready billing records. Requires 1–2 years of U.S. medical billing experience, proficiency in English and Spanish, and familiarity with billing platforms such as Kareo, eClinicalWorks, AdvancedMD, and DrChrono. Strong analytical, communication, and independent-work skills are essential; remote-work capability is required.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) — REQUIRED
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Medical billing or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
- Experience supporting U.S.-based medical practices is REQUIRED
- Strong understanding of Insurance claims, AR follow-up, Denial management, EOB interpretation
- Proficiency with CPT coding, ICD-10 coding, HCPCS coding
- Experience using medical billing platforms such as Kareo, eClinicalWorks, AdvancedMD, DrChrono or similar systems
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- HIPAA compliance knowledge and maintaining confidentiality
