Job Summary
Bilingual Full-Cycle Medical Biller to support U.S.-based healthcare providers in medical billing, claims processing, AR follow-up, and revenue cycle management from a remote Nicaragua location. Responsibilities include submitting clean claims (electronic and paper), verifying insurance eligibility, applying CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS codes, handling workers’ compensation and auto-accident claims, reviewing EOBs, pursuing denials, appeals, patient communications, posting payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation. Requires 1–2 years in medical billing/RCM for U.S. practices, proficiency with Kareo/eClinicalWorks/AdvancedMD/DrChrono, and fluent English and Spanish; HIPAA compliance and detail-oriented, collaborative remote work style. Required Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) — REQUIRED
- English proficiency level: C1 or higher required
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Medical billing
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in U.S. healthcare administration
- Previous experience supporting U.S.-based medical practices is REQUIRED
- Strong understanding of Insurance claims, AR follow-up, Medical billing workflows, Denial management, EOB interpretation
- Proficiency with CPT coding, ICD-10 coding, HCPCS coding
- Experience using medical billing platforms such as Kareo, eClinicalWorks, AdvancedMD, DrChrono
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- High attention to detail and accountability
- Preferred: Certified Medical Biller or Coder (CPC, CPB)
- Preferred: Prior authorizations, benefits verification, multi-specialty billing
- Familiarity with U.S. healthcare compliance standards and payer workflows
