Job Summary
Initiate new customer relationships by explaining KYC/FinCEN requirements, collecting corporate documents, and preparing accurate customer profiles. Conduct periodic and ad-hoc reviews for existing clients, analyze business backgrounds, and respond to inquiries regarding regulatory rules with accuracy and speed. Coordinate document requests to minimize customer burden while managing time and workload to meet due dates. Identify and escalate trigger events such as ownership changes or mergers, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve downstream process efficiency. Act as the primary contact for all KYC matters, balancing regulatory obligations with client service across the U.S. division.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- professional certification
- 1 year or more professional experience
- Banking experience
- Excellent English written and verbal communications skills
- ability to read complex regulations
- ability to explain regulations to customers in a simple, concise manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- ability to use Microsoft Apps such as Copilot, Power BI, Power Automate
- Adaptability to change
