Job Summary
Provide peer support and advocacy to youth and families through one-on-one interactions and group settings. Act as a collaborative advocate to help clients navigate county systems and connect them to community resources, safety planning, and natural support networks. Demonstrate high-level engagement to build trust while participating in community awareness activities, peer forums, and public speaking engagements. Maintain accurate documentation of mental health notes and complete weekly supervision and training requirements. Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Personal lived experience raising your own child or being the legal guardian of a child who has been the recipient of child welfare and/or other behavioral health services (e.g. child welfare, juvenile justice, mental health services, etc.)
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- High school diploma/GED
- At least 18 years of age
- TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies' insurance policy
