Job Summary
Provide on-site client assistance and support in person and by phone to help clients accurately enroll in Marketplace health insurance, including Premium Assistance Programs and Qualified Health Plan options. Educate clients on the Marketplace application, health coverage terminology, and plan options while effectively using email, Healthcare.gov, REDCap, and RingCentral systems. Complete all paid trainings and achieve CMS Certified Application Counselor certification. Protect client confidentiality and PII/PHI in compliance with HIPAA policies. This temporary, seasonal grant-funded role continues through mid-December 2026, potentially extending to mid-January 2027 based on CMS determinations.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish and/or Arabic, Hindi, Pashto
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to provide empathetic, trauma-informed services
- Ability to be flexible, learn quickly, and multi-task
- Accurate, efficient, and detail-oriented
- Proficiency using standard office computer programs and databases
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
