Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with total compensation around $168,000 per couple, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Must be legally married for at least two years
