Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on an on-campus student home in Hershey, PA, caring for a group of approximately 8–13 students. They provide daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, and transportation to activities, while planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and supervising budgeting and household reporting. The role transitions from nine consecutive days on, followed by three days off, to a Placed Houseparent position living with the same student group. The position offers relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and housing including meals while on duty. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, be at least 27 years old, and complete individual applications to be considered.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home Vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proselytizing prohibited while serving in a religiously diverse environment
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
