Job Summary
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Full-time Flex Houseparents in Hershey, PA living on campus to care for a group of 8–13 students in a family-like setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and transitions to a Placed Houseparent living situation with the same group of students. Requires a two-person married couple team, both spouses at least 27 years old, with a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with youth. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
