Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School: married couple resides in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, supervision, mentorship, medications administration, transport to activities, and develop student routines; lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel; manage budgeting and reporting; initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a consistent student-home assignment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and chapel services
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol permitted on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Experience with youth preferred
