Job Summary
Provide in-home health support to clients in Brooklyn, NY as a bilingual English/Spanish Home Health Aide (HHA). Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication administration. Offer companionship, monitor health as directed, help with meal preparation and nutrition, maintain a clean and safe environment, and document client progress while communicating with family members and healthcare teams. Utilize bilingual skills to communicate with Spanish-speaking clients and families. Adhere to safety and health regulations, and travel to client homes as needed. Requires valid New York HHA certification, fluency in English and Spanish, reliable transportation, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Home Health Aide certification in New York State
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- Previous experience in home health care or a related field is preferred
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
- Must pass background checks and health screenings as required
