Job Summary
Bilingual Case Worker will assist residents under the guidance of the Social Worker II, building 1:1 relationships and delivering a range of services to help residents establish and maintain safe, independent lives. Responsibilities include maintaining case files and progress notes, developing individualized service plans, drafting notices and reminders, data entry in internal databases, assisting residents with inquiries or referrals, accompanying residents to appointments and activities, facilitating social and recreational activities, preparing materials for group sessions, carrying a caseload of residents with less challenging needs, participating in team meetings and trainings, supporting social workers in emergencies, and promptly reporting urgent concerns. Strong written and oral communication, organization, time management, interpersonal skills, interest in working with older adults, basic computer/data-entry skills, and willingness to travel to multiple sites are required. Bilingual English/Spanish is essential and experience in social services/non-profit settings is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in social work, Human Services, or related field preferred.
