Job Summary
Bilingual English and Spanish Member Loyalty Representatives are responsible for delivering warm member service, processing transactions, and engaging in outreach to educate potential and existing members about Oportun’s inclusive financial services. The role involves in-store and community outreach, building relationships with local businesses and at events, assisting with applications, and maintaining a welcoming, clean store environment. The position requires the ability to travel between designated store locations within a reasonable commute, outdoor work year-round, weekend availability, and basic computer/iPad usage. The ideal candidate is outgoing, sales-focused, customer-service oriented, and capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Must be outgoing, sales-focused, and enjoy speaking with people.
- Must love to help members, including prospective members through outreach and educational activities.
- Must be available to work weekends and be flexible with a rotating work schedule of hours based on store needs. Schedules are set every two weeks.
- Must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance to support store operations.
- Must be willing and able to work outdoors year-round to identify new sales opportunities and promote company products and services through designated outreach activities.
- Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, as needed.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate office equipment such as, phones, scanners, and iPads.
- Ability to organize and file paper documents.
