Job Summary
Bilingual English/Spanish Member Loyalty Representative responsible for greeting members, delivering quality service, processing transactions, and educating members about Oportun’s inclusive, affordable financial services. Roles include outreach and education at store locations, partner locations, and community events; building relationships with local businesses; conducting outreach to increase awareness and capture leads; guiding potential members through applications; light housekeeping; and using iPads/QR codes for applications. Requires ability to travel between designated store locations within a reasonable commute, participate in outreach activities, and work a flexible schedule including weekends. Emphasizes member education, community engagement, and achieving daily lending/servicing goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Outgoing, sales-focused
- Enjoy helping members including prospective members
- Available to work weekends
- Flexible with rotating schedule
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Willing and able to work outdoors year-round
- Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate office equipment (phones, scanners, iPads)
- Ability to organize and file paper documents
