Job Summary
Bilingual Elementary Teacher (TESOL) needed for Waterford Public Schools at Great Neck Elementary School, to provide instruction in English and Spanish within a dual language immersion program. Will develop students’ bilingualism and biliteracy, align with grade-level standards, and contribute to a diverse, equitable learning environment. Position supports multilingual education, cultural competence, and academic success for K-8 students; endorsement-specific requirements include CT bilingual endorsements (902 and 009) and TESOL endorsement encouraged. Wage aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
Required Qualifications
- State of Connecticut endorsement (902) Elementary Bilingual Pre-K-8
- (009) Bilingual PK-12
- Bilingual certification with TESOL endorsement encouraged
