Job Summary
Bilingual Early Out Representative responsible for outbound calls to collect and manage account payments in English and Spanish, plus preparing and submitting insurance claims either electronically or manually. Duties include identifying and resolving patient billing issues, evaluating financial status to establish payment plans, reporting delinquent account status, resubmitting and correcting claims, translating patient information into medical codes, and ensuring confidentiality under HIPAA and FDCPA. Requires 3–5 years of medical billing experience, collections background, strong communication with patients and insurers, and a HS diploma with preferred Associate’s degree or higher.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish is required
- 3 to 5 years of experience in medical billing
- Experience in Collections
- Experience speaking with customers and insurance providers
- Knowledge of HIPAA and FDCPA
- Knowledge of medical coding, billing, and third-party billing procedures
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
- Associate’s Degree or higher preferred
