Job Summary
Bilingual Driver (Full-Time) for an Adult Day Center shuttle program. Operates and maintains mobility buses, assists with on- and off-boarding, and provides door-to-door transportation for seniors and adults with disabilities, including trips to medical appointments and errands. Must be fluent in Spanish and able to communicate professionally with members, families, and staff. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance issues, ensuring members are safely secured, maintaining route and vehicle records, and upholding safety and regulatory standards. Training provided; candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass DOT exams and background checks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and state/vehicle-specific driver credentials
- Able to pass required physical exams including Department of Transportation (DOT) exam
- Background check and motor vehicle report required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience working as a driver preferred but not required
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Knowledge of local geographic area preferred
- CPR, First Aid, and Passenger Assisted Safety &Sensitivity (PASS) certifications are facilitated as part of training
