Job Summary
Lead regional operations strategy for China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao by directing franchise support models, implementing new operating platforms, and championing AI-enabled technology and robotics to drive labor efficiency and unit economics. Optimize organizational structures and redefine engagement with franchisees while ensuring strict compliance with food safety, menu standards, and trademark protection. Present operational strategies to cross-functional leaders and franchisee councils to align with corporate goals and support One China initiatives. Manage geographically dispersed teams across diverse cultures, requiring 30% international travel, with fluency in English and Mandarin essential for influencing thinking and achieving regional objectives.
Required Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. Degree in Business or related field
- MBA
- Related experience in lieu of degree
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience
- Experience in Operations, Marketing or related field
- Experience in QSR, Fast Casual or Full-Service restaurant(s)
- Experience working within a franchisor organization
- Experience in a sub franchisee model market
- Experience optimizing support to drive high growth development in China
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships in a franchisor/franchisee environment
- Experience effectively managing professional level Operations staff
- Demonstrated ability to work within diverse cultures
- Ability to work across global time zones
- Ability to effectively lead geographically dispersed teams
- Experience in using kitchen automation
- Experience using AI enabled operating systems
- Solid experience in application in the restaurant industry
- Proficient knowledge of finance
