Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive bilingual evaluations to determine students' eligibility for special education services by administering, scoring, and interpreting assessments in English or Spanish. Prepare compliant Full and Individual Evaluation (FIE) reports and develop recommendations based on assessment results. Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and communicate findings to families and educational teams in both languages. Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related-service providers to support student needs while maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with IDEA, FERPA, and District requirements. This contract position offers a rate of $60/hr with a Mon-Fri schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification
- Master's degree in education, special education, or a related field
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Experience conducting bilingual evaluations in school settings
