Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Bilingual (French and English)
• •Must be located in Ontario, Quebec or New Brunswick
• •Must be able to travel 80% or up to 100%
• •Valid driver's license (full G license) with a past clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years
• •Meet BD's auto safety standards
• •College diploma, or DEP, AEC, or DEC, in mechanical engineering, industrial mechanics, automation, or other technical field
• •At least two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar position, including automation hardware and software installation and/or implementation
• •Pharmacy technician or pharmacy assistant experience
• •Good understanding and demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote)
• •Demonstrated emotional intelligence, including the ability to communicate effectively, manage interpersonal relationships, and adapt to internal stakeholders, and customer-facing environments
• •Ability to work well in a team setting
• •Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner
• •Be a dependable contributor with focus on project timelines
• •Basic knowledge of network communication and connectivity concepts
• •Ability to follow technical steps for device configuration
• •Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues
• •Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs
• •Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a past clean driving record (full G license) for a minimum of 3 years, as well as meet BD's auto safety standards
• •Must be able to effectively lead and coach others

• •Must be able to train customer stakeholders on our solutions
• •Must be able to execute Go Live activities
• •Must adhere to BD Medication Solutions product implementation methodologies and tools
• •Must be able to provide problem solving, troubleshooting and system consultation as needed for client
• •Must be able to manage project escalations for favorable outcomes
• •Must be able to execute additional tasks assigned
• •Must be able to complete deployment specialist training plans and demonstrate competency for the installation and support for BD Solution hardware and software
• •Must be able to install specified equipment at customer sites
• •Must be able to follow BD's Workplace Accommodations Policy

Desired Qualifications

• •Bachelor's Degree preferred
• •Experience working in a healthcare environment with hands‐on technical involvement and exposure to computerized system applications
• •Experience with dispensing software technologies
• •Exposure to clinical software applications, including BD Medication Solutions Dispensing products
• •Project Management experience supporting small to medium projects
• •Experience/knowledge of EMR related systems, HIS (Hospital Information Systems) and PIS (Pharmacy Information Systems), with an understanding of pharmacy and nursing workflows
• •Ability to be flexible and adaptable, manage ambiguity and demonstrate resilience
• •Baccalauréat, un atout
