Job Summary
Conduct in-person and phone customer service for wholesale and retail clients, determining needs, answering product questions, and recommending solutions. Resolve customer concerns promptly, process sales transactions accurately, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Mix and tint products to specifications, stock shelves, set up displays, pull merchandise from the sales floor or warehouse, and load/unload delivery trucks. Maintain precise work order files, comply with inventory control procedures, and keep assigned areas clean and presentable. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while remaining knowledgeable on available options and suggesting ways to improve sales.
Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
- Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
- Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
- At least a 'meets expectations' (3) rating on most recent performance appraisal (if internal)
- Completion of all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position (if internal)
Desired Qualifications
- At least a High School diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
- Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
- Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
