Job Summary
Conduct in-person and phone customer service for wholesale and retail clients by determining needs, answering product questions, and recommending appropriate solutions. Resolve customer concerns promptly while maintaining visual standards and achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Process sales transactions accurately, pull products from inventory, tint and mix materials per specifications, stock shelves, and load/unload delivery trucks. Maintain precise work order files, clean store equipment, and suggest sales improvements. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance with inventory control procedures. This role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
- Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
- Ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
- If internal to Sherwin-Williams: received at least a 'meets expectations' (3) rating on most recent performance appraisal
- If internal to Sherwin-Williams: completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position
Desired Qualifications
- At least a High School diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
- Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
- Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
