Job Summary
Determine customer needs and answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products while recommending solutions and resolving concerns promptly. Process sales transactions accurately, pull products from the sales floor or warehouse, and tint and mix products to customer specifications. Build trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers, maintain precise work order files, and suggest ways to improve sales. Stock shelves, set up displays, clean store equipment, load and unload delivery trucks, and assist in making deliveries. Ensure maximum client satisfaction, achieve sales goals on monthly, quarterly, and yearly bases, and maintain in-stock and presentable assigned areas. Work at Store #705471 in Seaford, DE, with a valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
- Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
- Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
- At least a 'meets expectations' (3) rating on most recent performance appraisal (if internal)
- Completion of all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position (if internal)
Desired Qualifications
- At least a High School diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
- Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
- Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
