Job Summary
Bilingual Customer Service Representative in a healthcare contact-center supporting patients nationwide. Deliver one-on-one customer service via telephone, document interactions in the electronic medical record, and collaborate with patients and providers to optimize patient care. Responsibilities include answering calls promptly and professionally, obtaining and entering demographic information, answering questions, suggesting process improvements, meeting call volume standards, adhering to HIPAA and company policies, routing calls to appropriate departments, and assisting with scheduling and reminders. Requires strong communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team, proficiency with computers and multiple systems, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish and able to work remotely from home with a private HIPAA-compliant workspace. Sixteen to eighteen dollars per hour compensation and a comprehensive benefits package are offered, with no immigration/work visa sponsorship provided.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of healthcare, sales, or customer service experience - preferably in a contact center environment
- 1+ years experience working in a call center preferred
- 1+ years experience working in a medical or healthcare environment preferred
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and Internet
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to multi-task in a call center environment
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
