Job Summary
Conduct sales calls and visit assigned accounts to sell automotive products to commercial businesses and repair shops. Implement new commercial sales programs while maintaining database records of account activity and communicating regularly with store teams on product availability and delivery timelines. Provide feedback on competitive information and merchandising suggestions to strengthen market position, and partner in the development and retention of Commercial Parts Pros. Assist in other functions as assigned, including stocking, operating POS equipment, and truck loading. Work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends with occasional overnight travel.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Fleet safety certified
- Speak and write English
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must have a valid driver's license and be fleet safety certified
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Ability to travel overnight occasionally
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- 3-5 years related selling experience
- Working knowledge of Advance products and services
- Working knowledge of the APAL system
- Working knowledge of automotive systems and traditional automotive aftermarket
- Ability to review and analyze business reports, such as profit and loss statement (P&L)
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Ability to travel overnight occasionally
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Spanish language skills
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- ASE certification
- Microsoft PowerPoint skills
- Proven sales track record with 3-5 years related selling experience
