Job Summary
Conduct crisis intervention, emotional support, and danger assessments for survivors of domestic and sexual violence via two 24-hour hotlines and hospital accompaniment programs. Perform client intakes, create safety plans, coordinate shelter placements, and provide face-to-face support at local hospitals. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including medical staff and law enforcement to deliver a full spectrum of services. Make CPS and APS reports, maintain accurate client records, and communicate with supervisors, community partners, and the answering service. Requires full-time Monday-Friday schedule with monthly on-call rotation and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Is actively enrolled in college with a major in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Psychology, Public Health, Counseling, Communications, or Business Administration
- A minimum of 6 months of experience working within a social service, customer service, or call-center setting
- Proficient experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Teams, and Outlook)
- Computer savvy and able to learn new applications and technologies quickly
- Bilingual in both English and Spanish and can read, write, and speak both languages fluently
- You have a valid Texas driver's license with a good driving record

Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Psychology, Public Health, Counseling, Communications, or Business Administration, strongly preferred
