Job Summary
Bilingual Crew Driver responsible for loading/unloading equipment, transporting crew between job sites across Florida and other states, and performing fieldwork in forests, swamps, mangroves, and beaches. Works outdoors in extreme heat and wet conditions; must be able to carry heavy backpacks, operate 4x4 vehicles, swamp buggies, airboats, chainsaws, pole saws, and other handheld equipment; requires English/Spanish bilingual skills, a valid driving record with at least 3 years of driving experience, willingness to travel with overnight stays, and the ability to obtain pre-employment drug testing clearance. Travel and lodging/per diem provided; duties include loading equipment, moving crew personnel between sites, and navigating diverse terrains with GPS. Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 3 years of driving experience and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to travel with overnight stays out of state which may last several weeks (lodging and per diem are provided).
- Ability to work for any employer in the United States.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must.
- Experience operating chainsaws, string mowers, pole saws, herbicide sprayers, and other handheld equipment.
- Ability to operate GPS units.
