Bilingual Credit Adjudication Associate

Job Summary
Adjudication associate acts as a credit specialist to adjudicate credit applications submitted to RBC's retail and automotive adjudication centers. Communicate a credit decision to various retail business partners, apply and follow RBC policies and procedures for credit, maintain a balance between customer service and business risk, negotiate with retail partners about complex products while balancing protecting the bank's assets and business development, provide complete verification of credit applications and required documentation, partner with others in a dynamic environment where teamwork is a priority, ensure standards of service quality are met. Bilingual (English and French) required, with ability to work with RBC partners across Canada. Flexible to work shifts within 7:30am-7pm, typically 10:30am-7pm Mon-Fri and 7:30am-4pm Saturdays. Located at 800 Rue de la Gauchetière O, Suite 4021, Montréal, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Must-have Retail credit or lending experience and a thorough knowledge of credit and risk policies
- Professional call handling experience and ability to make outbound calls to retail partners
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with RBC partners across Canada
- Able to adapt to a changing work environment, be committed, organized, effective and accountable
- Flexible to work shifts within business hours of 7:30am-7pm Monday to Saturday, with most shifts 10:30am-7pm Mon-Fri and 7:30am-4pm Saturdays
- Proven experience in credit risk mitigation and related decision making
